Interesting facts according to The Old Testament – The Holy Bible:

• Amram married Jochebed. She was his father’s sister.
• Moses and Aaron also had a sister named Miriam.
• The Divine Name was revealed to Moses:
  EXODUS 3.14
  God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ He said further, ‘Thus you shall say to the Israelites, “I AM has sent me to you.” ‘

  EXODUS 3.15
  God also said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the Israelites, “The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you”:
  This is my name for ever,
  and this is my title for all generations.

• Moses was a poor speaker (he was slow of speech and slow of tongue) and Aaron spoke fluently therefore Aaron spoke for Moses to the people; Aaron served as a mouth for Moses and Moses served as God for Aaron. God gave Moses his staff to perform before Pharaoh all the wonders that he has put in his power.
• Moses was 80 years old and Aaron was 83 years old when they spoke with Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his land. God made Moses like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron was his prophet.

• EXODUS 12.40
  The time that the Israelites had lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

  EXODUS 12.41
  At the end of four hundred and thirty years, on that very day, all the companies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

  EXODUS 12.42
  That was for the LORD a night of vigil, to bring them out of the land of Egypt. That same night is a vigil to be kept for the LORD by all the Israelites throughout their generations.
